STEM Classes at YMCA Paterson
In an exciting partnership with YMCA Paterson, UPLIFT Academy offered an enriching 8-week STEM program for 1st through 5th grade students. The program, which focused on Nanobot Robotics and 3D design, engaged ten enthusiastic young learners. Through hands-on activities, students explored the exciting world of robotics, building small-scale robots and learning 3D modeling skills to bring their imaginative creations to life.
Second Guest Speaker at Seminary Baptist Church
On April 6th, 2024, guest speaker Selim Bayam, a current Information Technology student at Rutgers University, visited the College Path Mentorship mentees at Seminary Baptist Church in Paterson. He emphasized the importance of 'having responsibilities and managing our time' as the second guest speaker.
CPM Student Receives Admission Offers from Multiple Colleges
Moutar Sampil, a dedicated high school senior in our College Path Mentorship program for two years, aims to study Marketing at Rutgers New Brunswick. His hard work paid off with acceptances to Montclair, Rutgers Newark, Rutgers New Brunswick, and others. UpLift Academy congratulates him with a $100 gift card and wishes him success in his college journey.
CPM Guest Speaker at Fallahee and Alaaka
Our guest speaker, Iysha Arun, a graduate, visited the College Path Mentorship mentees at Fallahee and Alaaka in Newark on March 9th, 2024. Iysha provided insightful insights into the importance of setting achievable goals and how it contributes to academic success. Her advice has been incredibly beneficial for our students. Setting realistic and attainable goals enables individuals to accomplish meaningful results within a reasonable timeframe.

College Path Mentorship 2022-23 Started
Our signature program College Path Mentorship’s 2022-23 sessions started last weekend in two locations, the Cultural Integration and Arts Association of Newark and the Masjid Fallahee.
College Path Mentorship Parent Meeting 1
We are pleased to announce that our College Path Mentorship Program has started with "parent meetings." The first meeting was held at Masjid Fallahee on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022.
NYA’s First Summer Math Camp was a Success
Our first free "Summer Math Camp" was held between August 1 and 12, 2022 at Alaaka Association, Newark. 9 students attended the camp that started at 9 am and ended at 1 pm daily. Students were also offered snacks and lunch for free. The camp was a success.
College Application Bootcamp Summer 2022
Our first of the two College Application Bootcamps in 2022 was held on June 11-12, 2022 at Montclair State University. The Bootcamp aimed to prepare current juniors and some sophomores for college applications. 30 tenth and eleventh graders attended the two-day Bootcamp.

We are pleased to announce that the "STEAM Academies for Low-Income Communities" project has started in partnership with Seminary Baptist Church of Paterson.
