Our second and free “Summer Math Camp” for 7th and 8th graders has started today at the Alaaka Association, Newark. 12 students registered for the camp that will last until July 21, for 2 weeks, and will be held between 9 am and 1 pm daily.
Students will also be offered snacks and lunch for free.
The goals of the camp are to:
- refresh students’ prior math knowledge,
- develop their skills and understanding of algebra topics,
- prepare students for upcoming algebra classes.
Uplift Academy (formerly known as New York Academy Educational Services) offers summer math camps annually for two groups of students – 7th and 8th graders, and 9th and 10th graders.
