Parent Meet & Greet Held at New Birth Church
UPLIFT Academy hosted a Parent Meet & Greet at New Birth Church in Paterson on Friday, November 14 at 7:00 PM, strengthening family engagement in our College Path Mentorship (CPM) program. Parents learned about the step-by-step path to college admission, the importance of early preparation, and the many free resources their children receive through CPM.
CPM Students Visit Montclair University for an Inspiring College Experience
UPLIFT Academy’s College Path Mentorship (CPM) students visited Montclair State University for a meaningful and motivating college trip on Saturday, April 26. Students from four partner locations joined the visit, making this a truly collaborative and community-centered experience.
UPLIFT’s Annual Essay Bootcamp Helps Juniors Shine
UPLIFT Academy’s annual Essay Bootcamp for high school juniors was a tremendous success, bringing together students from multiple partner sites for two days of focused writing, learning, and growth. Held on April 19–20, in partnership with SKY Academy at its Youth Center in Rochelle Park, the camp equipped juniors with the tools they need to craft compelling personal statements for their college applications.
Eid Smiles: CPM Students Spreading Joy Through Service
On March 23, 2025, UPLIFT Academy’s College Path Mentorship (CPM) students put compassion into action through the annual Eid Smiles community service project. Working through our partner sites — Alaaka Association and Masjid Fallahee — mentees identified 30 children from low-income families to share in the joy of Eid.
