We held parent meetings at Alaaka Association on February 10th and at Masjid Fallahee on February 17th. These meetings marked a significant step towards strengthening ties between Uplift and parents, as well as enhancing parental involvement in the educational journey of their children.

During this gathering, parents were presented with clear expectations regarding their role in supporting the College Path Mentorship and Math & Coding programs. Emphasis was placed on the crucial partnership between parents and mentors, highlighting the pivotal role parents play in shaping their children’s academic development. From ensuring regular attendance to active participation in their child’s learning, parents were urged to take an engaged role.

The presentation also underscored the profound importance of the educational program for our children’s future. Beyond academic success, it aims to instill values, nurture character, and provide a foundation for lifelong learning.

The impact of the parent meetings extended beyond the presentation itself. Attendance improved significantly, and parents demonstrated a renewed commitment to their children’s education. Punctuality and engagement became the norm, reflecting a newfound sense of responsibility and dedication within the community.

As we move forward, let us continue to foster a spirit of unity and partnership, knowing that together, we can create a brighter future for our children and our community.
