Our free-of-charge College Path Mentorship Program aims to increase college attainment rates by students from high poverty areas of New Jersey and targets students who are enrolled in free or reduced lunch programs in their schools.
With this award, NYA aims to encourage both AP students and the teachers across the state of New Jersey to pursue scholastic accomplishment in STEM education. 30 students will be awarded $250 and 15 teachers will be awarded $500 each.
New York Academy (NYA) is offering free SAT course at the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (PCSST) for its students. Classes are held every Saturday and will continue for 3 months.

New York Academy (NYA) has started an after-school “Robotics Program” at the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (PCSST). Classes are held every Tuesday after the school and will continue for 7 weeks. Once a groups finishes the program, it will restart with new students.
New York Academy has partnered with "Center for New Americans" and developed "ESL Courses for Newcomers" project to teach English to its newcomer members.
New York Academy has started a weekend-school “STEM Classes Program” at the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology. Classes are held every Saturday and will continue for 6 weeks.
NYA's College Application Prep Camp offered students informative seminars, essay writing tips, one-on-one essay editing with mentors, professional guidance on the college application process.
NYA held a workshop for high school students on November 24, 2019. The workshop mainly focused on building a personal brand for a successful career. Topics discussed included social media and personal branding, CV preparation and preparing for interviews.
