STEM Classes at PCSST

New York Academy (NYA) has started a weekend-school “STEM Classes Program” at the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (PCSST). Classes are held every Saturday and will continue for 6 weeks. Once a groups finishes the program, it will restart with new students.
Participants of this program are middle school students.
Robotics will be instructed as part of the program.

Math & Coding: Building Strong Foundations for the Future
On October 26, 2024, we launched our Math & Coding program for 8th and 9th-grade students at Alaaka, beginning with an engaging orientation session for students. This program is designed to strengthen students’ foundational math skills while introducing them to essential concepts in computer programming, fostering both analytical thinking and creativity.
College Path Mentorship (CPM) Started in Four Locations
We are proud to announce that our College Path Mentorship program officially started in four partner locations in October 2024. The program began at Seminary Baptist Church on October 12, followed by Fallahee, Alaaka Association, and Masjid Abu Bakr on October 19. In each location, we organized a Parent Orientation Meeting to engage families to explain the goals of the program.
CPM Orientation Meetings Across Partner Locations
UPLIFT Academy successfully conducted orientation meetings for our College Path Mentorship (CPM) program at four partner locations: Seminary Baptist Church, Paterson, Masjid Abu Bakr, Paterson, Masjid Fallahee, Alaaka Association. To solidify their dedication, both students and parents signed contracts at the end of each session, marking a unified start to the program year.
