STEM Classes at PCSST
January 15, 2020
New York Academy (NYA) has started a weekend-school “STEM Classes Program” at the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (PCSST). Classes are held every Saturday and will continue for 6 weeks. Once a groups finishes the program, it will restart with new students.
Participants of this program are middle school students.
Robotics will be instructed as part of the program.

Spring Break SAT Bootcamp Focuses on Math Success
UPLIFT Academy hosted a Spring Break SAT Bootcamp designed to give high school students an opportunity to strengthen their math skills and prepare for the SAT during their school break between April 4-8, 2026. The five-day program provided students with focused academic instruction and a supportive learning environment where they could dedicate time to SAT preparation.
CPM Students Give Back Through Ramadan Food Distribution
In March 2026, UPLIFT Academy organized a Ramadan Food Package Distribution as part of the community service component of its College Path Mentorship (CPM) program. Sponsored by Embrace Relief Foundation, food packages were distributed to families through UPLIFT’s partner locations, including Alaaka Association, Seminary Baptist Church, and Masjid Fallahee.
CPM Parent Meetings Strengthen Family Engagement
UPLIFT Academy brought together CPM families, students, staff, and partner locations for a meaningful parent meeting focused on communication, collaboration, and student success. With families participating both in person and through Zoom, the meeting created an opportunity to connect across locations and strengthen our shared commitment to supporting students on their path to college.
