UPLIFT Launches Summer Robotics Program for Newark Students
This summer, UPLIFT Academy continued its commitment to expanding access to STEM education by launching its free Robotics program in Newark for middle school students from underserved communities in partnership with the New Spring Foundation and Masjid Ashab ul Yameen.
Annual Mentor and Teacher Training
On September 21st, UPLIFT Academy conducted a comprehensive training workshop for mentors and instructors involved in our College Path Mentorship (CPM) program and other educational initiatives.The event brought together passionate mentors and educators dedicated to empowering underserved students through innovative and impactful teaching practices.
Summer Math Camps Closing Ceremonies 2024
The Summer Math Camps for 2024 concluded with two closing ceremonies to honor the hard work and achievements of our students. The first one took place at our UPLIFT Academy office in Rochelle Park on Saturday, August 31, 2024, for the Seminary Baptist Church (SBC) students. The second was held at Masjid Fallahee in Newark on Saturday, September 14, 2024, for students from both Fallahee and Alaaka Association.
From Local Impact to Global Change: CPM Students’ Journey to Tanzania
In Summer 2024, two outstanding students from UPLIFT Academy’s College Path Mentorship (CPM) program embarked on a life-changing trip to Tanzania—a reward for their academic success, leadership, and commitment to community service. This journey began in February 2024, when the students launched a fundraising campaign to open water wells in rural Tanzania.
