Press Release: UPLIFT Receives $10,000 Grant from Eisai USA Foundation
UPLIFT Academy is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the EISAI USA Foundation. This generous funding will support the College Path Mentorship Program, aimed at empowering and guiding students on their path to higher education.
CPM Guest Speaker at Seminary Baptist Church and Union Baptist Church
Our guest speaker, Yusuf Kocaman, a recent graduate, who studied Computer Science at Princeton University, visited the College Path Mentorship mentees at Seminary Baptist Church in Paterson and Union Baptist Church in Passaic City.

Our guest speaker, Metin San, a student at Ramapo College majoring in Biochemistry, visited the College Path Mentorship mentees at Alaaka Association at Newark on December 2nd, 2023.
UPLIFT Donates Smartboards to its Partners
Uplift has donated and installed 2 smart boards at the Masjid Al Iman and Union Baptist Church, which are its partners in College Path Mentorship Program and STEAM Academies.
CPM Mentor Orientation 2021
College Path Mentorship Program's "Mentor Orientation" was held at NYA's Ridgewood office on Saturday October 16, 2021.
Mentorship for High School Students
Our free-of-charge College Path Mentorship Program aims to increase college attainment rates by students from high poverty areas of New Jersey and targets students who are enrolled in free or reduced lunch programs in their schools.
2021 Capacity-Building Grant Winner
With this award, NYA aims to encourage both AP students and the teachers across the state of New Jersey to pursue scholastic accomplishment in STEM education. 30 students will be awarded $250 and 15 teachers will be awarded $500 each.
Free SAT Course at PCSST
New York Academy (NYA) is offering free SAT course at the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (PCSST) for its students. Classes are held every Saturday and will continue for 3 months.
Capacity Building Grant
With this grant, New York Academy aims to contribute to the projects that build long-term capacity at schools in high-poverty areas in the state of New Jersey. $1,000 to $1,500 will be awarded to successful applicants.
