Summer Math Camp Students Celebrate Achievements at Certificate Ceremonies
UPLIFT Academy celebrated the completion of its 2026 Summer Math Camp programs with certificate ceremonies held for students across multiple locations. Each ceremony recognized students who completed an intensive two-week summer program that provided approximately 40 hours of math instruction. In addition to receiving certificates, students were also awarded Amazon gift cards in recognition of their hard work and achievement.
MERIT Scholars Program Coming in January 2027
UPLIFT Academy is preparing to launch a new academic program, MERIT Scholars, in January 2027. Designed for middle school students, MERIT Scholars will provide focused support in Math and English while helping students prepare for selective and magnet high school opportunities in Essex and Passaic counties.
Summer Math Camp Expands to Serve More Than 50 Students
In Summer 2026, UPLIFT Academy expanded its Summer Math Camp to serve more than 50 students through four intensive two-week programs. Three groups were held in July at UPLIFT Academy’s Newark Learning Center, with an additional group scheduled for the second half of August at New Birth Church. Each group participates in approximately 40 hours of math instruction.
UPLIFT Supports Families Through Eid al-Adha Meat Distribution
In June 2026, UPLIFT Academy organized a series of Eid al-Adha Meat Distributions as part of the community service component of its College Path Mentorship (CPM) program. The meat was provided by Embrace Relief Foundation, which collects Qurbani donations and distributes the meat to families in need during Eid al-Adha.
