Summer Math Camp Closing Ceremonies: Celebrating Student Success and Growth

The Summer Math Camps for 2024 concluded with two special closing ceremonies to honor the hard work and achievements of our students. The first ceremony took place at our UPLIFT Academy office in Rochelle Park on Saturday, August 31, 2024, for the Seminary Baptist Church (SBC) students. The second ceremony was held at Masjid Fallahee in Newark on Saturday, September 14, 2024, for students from both Fallahee and Alaaka Association.

During the closing ceremonies, students were celebrated not only for their dedication throughout the Summer Math Camps but also for their academic growth and progress. Each student received a certificate of completion, recognizing their commitment to improving their math skills. In addition to certificates, students were rewarded with gift cards of varying amounts based on their individual progress in UPLIFT’s Summer Math Camps. This served as an extra incentive for the hard work and determination they demonstrated throughout the camp.

The Summer Math Camps aim to strengthen the mathematical foundations of students, helping them build confidence and preparing them for academic challenges in the upcoming school year. Through diagnostic assessments, personalized instruction, and engaging activities, students gained valuable skills that will aid them in their educational journeys. These closing ceremonies marked the successful completion of camps designed to empower students and foster a love for learning.

We look forward to continuing to offer the Summer Math Camps in the future, as it has proven to be a transformative experience for students. Both the recognition and rewards provided at the ceremonies serve to motivate students to further their education and make the most of their opportunities.
