STEM Classes at YMCA Paterson: Empowering Young Minds through Robotics and 3D Design

In an exciting partnership with YMCA Paterson, UPLIFT Academy offered an enriching 8-week STEM program for 1st through 5th grade students. The program, which focused on Nanobot Robotics and 3D design, engaged ten enthusiastic young learners. Through hands-on activities, students explored the exciting world of robotics, building small-scale robots and learning 3D modeling skills to bring their imaginative creations to life.

The program’s success showcases the impact of innovative STEM education on young minds, helping them develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills at an early age.

We extend our sincere thanks to Lynn Kitchings, Director of Youth Development at YMCA, for her support in this partnership. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the YMCA to bring more opportunities for STEM education to the Paterson community.

If you cannot provide STEM education to underserved students in your community, please contact us, and we will do our best to support you.
