STEM Classes at PCSST
January 15, 2020
New York Academy (NYA) has started a weekend-school “STEM Classes Program” at the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (PCSST). Classes are held every Saturday and will continue for 6 weeks. Once a groups finishes the program, it will restart with new students.
Participants of this program are middle school students.
Robotics will be instructed as part of the program.

Eid Smiles: CPM Students Spreading Joy Through Service
On March 23, 2025, UPLIFT Academy’s College Path Mentorship (CPM) students put compassion into action through the annual Eid Smiles community service project. Working through our partner sites — Alaaka Association and Masjid Fallahee — mentees identified 30 children from low-income families to share in the joy of Eid.
College Path Mentorship Students Lead Food Drive
We are incredibly proud of our College Path Mentorship (CPM) students at various locations for organizing a meaningful community service project – "Food Drive" in Ramadan. Our students took the initiative to identify families in need, reach out to them, and coordinate the distribution of essential food items. The packages were distributed on Saturday, March 8th, 2025.
Inspiring College Journeys: Guest Speakers Visit CPM Students
As part of UPLIFT Academy’s College Path Mentorship (CPM) program, we regularly invite accomplished guest speakers to inspire, guide, and empower our high school students as they prepare for their college journeys. These talks provide students with first-hand insights into the college experience, strategies for success, and the motivation to pursue their goals with confidence.
