In Summer 2026, UPLIFT Academy expanded its Summer Math Camp to serve more than 50 students through four intensive two-week programs. Three groups were held in July at UPLIFT Academy’s Newark Learning Center, with an additional group scheduled for the second half of August at New Birth Church.
Each group participates in approximately 40 hours of math instruction, giving students an opportunity to strengthen foundational skills, close learning gaps, and prepare for the academic demands of the upcoming school year.
The program is tailored to students’ grade levels and academic goals. Students in grades 8–9 focus on PSAT Math preparation, while students in grades 10–12 receive SAT Math preparation. Through targeted instruction, practice, and problem-solving activities, students work to improve both their mathematical understanding and their confidence.
The Summer Math Camp also provides students with a structured and supportive learning environment during the summer months. By combining intensive academic preparation with focused instruction, UPLIFT Academy aims to help students return to school better prepared for both classroom mathematics and future standardized tests.
