On April 19, 2026, UPLIFT Academy partnered with SKY Academy to host a Career Fair that introduced students to a variety of professions and helped them explore possible college and career pathways. The event was organized as part of UPLIFT Academy’s College Path Mentorship (CPM) program, with CPM students taking part in workshops and career exploration activities. Approximately 40 students attended the event, which featured interactive workshops focused on a variety of professional fields.

The Career Fair gave students an opportunity to learn about careers they may not have previously considered, ask questions, and begin connecting their interests and strengths with future educational and professional goals. By learning about different professions, students were also encouraged to think about the college majors, skills, and educational pathways that can lead to those careers.

Career exploration is an important part of college readiness. Understanding possible career paths can help students make more informed decisions about high school coursework, college majors, and future educational opportunities.

Through workshops and career-focused discussions, students were encouraged to think beyond simply “going to college” and begin considering how their education can connect to long-term personal and professional goals.

Approximately 40 students participated in the Career Fair, creating a shared learning environment where students could explore new professions, engage in discussions, and reflect on their own interests and aspirations.
