Before the first bell of the new school year rang, UPLIFT Academy was on the ground ensuring students were ready for success. This summer, UPLIFT, in powerful partnership with Embrace Relief, hosted its annual Back-to-School Backpack Distribution drive.
The initiative was designed to address a critical need by providing essential school supplies to students in the communities UPLIFT serves, helping them start the academic year prepared and confident.
Through the collaborative effort of volunteers and partner organizations, backpacks filled with supplies were distributed to families at multiple partner locations, including the Alaaka Association, Masjid Fallahee, Masjid Mubarak, Seminary Baptist Church (SBC), Ashab-ul Yameen, and the New Spring Foundation.
This effort goes beyond simply providing materials; it reinforces the message that the entire community is invested in the success and well-being of every student.
